Data Analyst II
Location: Spring, TX
Schedule: M-F, 40hrs/wk
Pay Rate: $38.94/hr
Job Summary:
Responsible for collecting, processing, preparing, scanning, boxing and routing of physical items received through the mail in Nature 3 and through interdepartmental delivery. Responsible for indexing, routing and quality control of electronic documents generated.
Provides support for Uncon Land & Land Services which may include preparing, processing, digitizing, routing, tracking and/or archiving physical documents and routing, tracking and/or indexing digital documents in the enterprise content management system.

- Must be well organized and able to prioritize multiple requests and tasks
- Identify potential software upgrades/enhancements/break fixes
- Must have good communication skills; Listens and communicates effectively, with full disclosure of pertinent facts and information; communication is clear, direct and concise; maintains confidentiality; keep the appropriate parties informed.
- Actively seeks to develop and understand business and technical vocabulary germane to petroleum industry Land functions
Decision Making:
- Consult with Manager/Lead when dealing with non-routine problems
- Escalate issues that need to be resolved by corporate land
- Work with reasonable direction from Manager/Lead
- Identify new processes and procedural changes to address needs or changes expressed by Manger/Lead
- Identify need for additional support for special projects/surges in workload
- Cognizant of and effectively utilizes new and alternative approaches and techniques in the business/technical environment. Developing ability to overcome obstacles when executing projects and successfully brings issues to conclusion in a timely manner.
Working Relationships:
Work closely when needed with Land/ Land Services teams processing documents
Supervision:
Work with moderate supervision
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Has the ability to apply knowledge to address/resolve issues of moderate scope and complexity. Demonstrates general working knowledge of business principles, industry practices and system standards.
- In-depth knowledge of all land data types
- Ability to search various internal and external database systems to identify legacy data and/or data that has not been uploaded to an ECM
- Must be familiar with the databases used by regulatory agencies, DrillingInfo and other online databases—such as county digital record sites
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent certification
Experience:
1 year clerical / general office experience required Good clerical skills with an aptitude for detailed and precise work. / Five years administrative support experience in oil and gas Land and/or Oil and Gas experience preferred
Skills/Certifications:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook
Work Environment:
- Able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Able to lift/move up to 25 pounds on regular basis, and occasionally lift/ move up to 100 pounds
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision
- Able to deal with wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat/cold
