Location: Spring, TX – candidates must reside within 50 miles
Schedule: 5/2, Mon-Fri
Pay Rate: $50/hr
Business Travel Required: Possible field trip/rig visit 1-2 times per year – Mileage allowance of $.93/mile for required work travel (mileage, hotel, airfare, meals) -receipts required
Job Description:
Engineering Technician and Data Analysis for Wells Servicing team. Data quality management, well history reviews, wellbore schematic management, AFE routing and ad hoc engineering support. Responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions with PowerBI Dashboards. Using their skills, knowledge, and experience, they will design and develop data driven analytics solutions and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, QC, and analyze data from various sources to enable improved analytics and insight generation
- Perform requirements definition and translation into data driven solutions and support development, testing, analysis and ad-hoc analysis as requested
- Assist with development, delivery, and sustainment of data analytics solutions that predict, automate, and optimize decisions
- Maintain documentation for data processes, models, reports, and analysis to ensure clarity, consistency and sustained cost-effective stewardship of delivered solutions
Requirements:
- Oil and Gas industry knowledge preferably in workover operations and/or drilling operations
- Advanced WellView skills
- Advanced PowerBI skills (create, update & maintain in Desktop)
- Intermediate MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Bonus: Snowflake, Kepler, Databrick knowledge
