The phrase “boots on the ground” is a fitting description of Upstream’s Regional Account Manager Jared Booker. With an entire career spent learning and servicing the Permian Basin, Jared is well-regarded as a local resource.

Jared’s path to Midland began with serving four years in the 7th Marine Regiment, rising to the rank of Sergeant (E-5).  He then detoured to Lubbock to earn a mechanical engineering degree from Texas Tech, graduating in 2003.  His oilfield career was launched as a frac and cement engineer with industry giant, Halliburton, staying until he rose to Senior Service Manager - Cement Operations.

Over the course of the next 10 years, Jared progressed through engineering and operations roles with solid players in the region. Most recently, he worked as a sales representative for Universal Pressure Pumping.

Jared resides in Midland with his wife and their three children.
